"The bark is worse than the bite."

Well, I'm sick. Yay! Not!
I have my wonderful seal barking cough. It's great. But actually, it's quite lame. The lame thing is it's not a really full on seal bark, so I'm just stuck with an unfunny cough and being sick. Great.
Well, I've been sleeping a lot and putting off my Isaiah homework. 3-5 pages on an analysis of Isaiah 5. I don't know how this is going to happen in one night. I'm a fool for not doing it before tonight. And yes, instead of doing my homework, I'm blogging. Ha! I guess blogging is my way of complaining about life when no one will listen but my wonderful MacBook.
So, I'm sick with a sore throat/runny nose. I can't breath normally. I swear, if someone was to run after me trying to kill me, I'd run for ten feet and lose my breath and fall over and get killed. So wonderful.
Well, I know this has been short. Let's be honest, from now on they probably all will be short. But I really really really need to get some homework done. So please pray that I get it done and do it well. Adios!

I'm a failure.

Well, two days have gone by without blogging. I'm sorry, but I'm burnt out. I will try to still blog on a weekly basis about the hilarious moments of my life. Because, well, they happen.

"Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out. "

Woke up this morning and was ready within 20 minutes. Well, I had some spare time so I made my lunch (aka salad). Well, this morning was good. I didn't spill anything on my lap. Haha! I also still am sick, so choir auditions went interestingly. But good enough. I took a nap, which was glorious to say the least. And I even got some homework done. So I feel good about the day. Went to a softball game and had fun chatting with some girlies. And guess what I did!?! I spilled my tea on my blanket. I am such a clutz lately!!!! Oh well, life goes on. Well, first night of wing devos of the year. It should be good to help us get to know each other. I'm excited. :)

This is short. And I really don't care, because I'm tired. Wa-bam!

"I've never seen the Big Dipper that big." "You could fit so much more water in that!"

9.8.10
This morning I woke up and put on a decently cute outfit. Khakis and a tanktop with my teal sweater over it. Well, I made coffee this morning and turns out the desks in the senior classroom aren’t very sturdy. Because when I pumped the desk, my coffee went on my lap/sweater. Well, I got to do laundry for the first time at AFLBS this year. A little sooner than I was hoping, but oh well.
Class went great this morning. I was awake and I’m super excited for all the assignments so far. They are not just busy work, but actually digging into the Word and finding what applies to our lives. Exciting!
This afternoon I went to Ikea to get curtains. But, unfortunately didn’t find any. :( Oh well! It was fun going. I also went to Famous Dave’s to see the Emmaus worship team play. It was good and tons of fun.
It’s crazy how this year I have talked to so many people I never talked to last year. It’s going to be a great year here at AFLBS. I’m excited to see what God has in store for all of us here.

“A friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself.”

9.7.10
I hate it when I wake up and have to wait for a shower. And then when I finally get into a shower (and not the good one) I don’t have hot water, but cold water. Not fun! Well, that was the start of my day.
I made coffee this morning. Made my whole day more lively. Very nice. Orientation wasn’t even boring. I love coffee. I hung out with some cool juniors this afternoon, and when I got back looked at my door. It had a note written on it, “I need your help.” Well, it was from Beth (my old roommate) asking me to help her organize her room. I did. It looks awesome. Wa-bam!
Well, after that I made dinner. And, burnt my 4th finger and pinky. Ouch! So I got to eat my dinner with my right hand while I was icing my left hand. And yes, to you who don’t know. I’m a lefty. It wasn’t easy.
Well tonight I played soccer and volleyball. Turns out I stink at soccer. Used to be good. Oh well.
Devos tonight were going over our handbook. It took a LONG time. I’m tired. Night!

"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

9.6.10
This morning I woke up at 7 when I didn’t have to wake up until 8. I learned my lesson the hard way that I should close my curtains. Well, they are closed for the night. I also woke up to find out that the power was out. But no worries, my stuff in my fridge stayed cold the whole time. Well, we had orientation today. Fun? Um.. about that. Lol It was “orientation”. ‘Nough said.
Well I spent the afternoon with David, Andy Benson, and Preston. We played Uno and I won enough times to be satisfied. I also had a great laughing attack aka ab workout. But during this laughing attack my throat starting closing up. It was horrible. It hurt tons. And yet, I thought it was funny that it was happening and so I couldn’t stop laughing for the life of me. Oh well.
I bought tons of groceries today at Sam’s Club and Walmart. Good stuff. I’m kinda excited to eat it.
We had a great testimony/worship time this evening and then us wonderful seniors went to the 50’s grill. I had a strawberry sundae. It was yummy!
But now I’m super tired. So, I’m doing devos and getting some good quality shut-eye. Night!

"Are you a parking ticket? (What?) You got fine written all over you."

9.5.10
Crazy day. I woke up this morning at 6:50 after going to bed at 1:30. Yes, that’s correct. 5 hours of sleep. But, considering that I’d say I’m doing pretty well. It’s 12:10 right now and I’m tired, but still functioning pretty well.
Well, I’m all moved in. It’s been so great being back at AFLBS and seeing friends and just talking and relaxing. I also got to see David today. He had his last summer team concert tonight. A group of us played Five Crowns tonight and enjoyed popcorn. I love popcorn so much. It’s such a great thing.
Well, nothing really excitingly funny happened today. Maybe tomorrow. Night!
Also, I’m realizing that blogging every night is getting ridiculous. Should I keep blogging every night or just when I have the energy to “really” blog? Input please!

"She a drama queen if you know what I mean..."

Well, tonight was the night. Family Force Five was amazing as expected. And yes, I lost my voice and prolly lost a few pounds from dancing. So amazing. I love my friends. I really have nothing else to say about the concert except, dang, it was good.
My car is loaded. I'm leaving in less than 7 hours for school! Exciting! Also, I get PF Changs tomorrow. Be jealous.
I had a lovely photo shoot this morning. It was so fun I couldn't stop. It was only supposed to be a 90 minute session but it turned into a 140 minutes session. Oh well, I'm sure she isn't complaining. And I sure ain't. Yup, I just said ain't. Well, I got to hang out with my sister and baby Jacob for a little this afternoon. It was fun. I love that little man. He's such a stud and well, he loves me too. Everytime he sees me he goes a little crazy with joy. I appreciate it.
I feel really lame writing such a short blog when it was such an amazing day, but I really should be heading to bed since I have to drive 4 hours in the morning. Night! Please pray for safe travels. :)

"Ugly people put your hands down."

Tomorrow night is THE night. The night I've been waiting for for a very long time (2 years to be exact). Family Force Five. In concert. Aka I'm going to lose my voice and dance my butt off tomorrow night. I'm super pumped! Basically I have the lyrics down and got some dancing warmups tonight at the David Crowder Band concert. So tonight at the concert me and Preston and a friend of his, Brooke (who's really cool) were going crazy dancing and not being boring and just putting our hands up. Then David Crowder told us to introduce ourselves to a person around us. So this girl goes "Hi, I'm Ashley. I LOVE your dancing." Wa-bam! And yes, folks, she was serious. I was so proud. So proud that I had to blog about it. Did that make my night? Heck yes! I will now dance with all my spirit tomorrow night at Family Force Five.
Well, it's official. I'm all packed up. It just has to go into the car tomorrow morning after my photo shoot. Which is at 8:30, so I really should be heading to bed soon but I just don't want to. I feel so alive after being at Lifelight and having the time of my life (or at least of the day). Anywho, I'm heading to B-school in two mornings. Excited? Why, yes, I am. I'm still hoping to blog at AFLBS everyday, but it'll most likely not make it online every night. But should be on the next day at some point. The great and yet very annoying thing about AFLBS is we don't have internet in our rooms. Great, because if you're addicted like I am, you won't go online while doing homework. Annoying, because sometimes you just don't want to walk down the hall and down the stairs to the dang computer lab just to be watched by people. I hate it because I don't feel like I can skype or even listen to music. It'll be interesting this year.
Well, I suppose I should try to get some sleep tonight so my creative juices are flowing in the morning. Night!
P.S. If you're gonna be in Sufu tomorrow night, come to the Family Force Five concert and find me. I'll be the girl dancing with glow sticks on.

"The only exercise some people get is jumping to conclusions, running down their friends, side-stepping responsibility, and pushing their luck."

I almost forgot to blog tonight! I was just laying in bed trying to sleep when it hit me. "I didn't blog yet." Well, here I am, blogging.
This morning I woke up and lounged. I figured I should take advantage of the opportunity to do that. So I did. I finished Lost season 4 today. Ok, seriously. Lost is just getting ridiculous at the point. I'm pretty sure I make fun of it more than enjoy it. And yet, I can't stop watching it. It's like I'm addicted or something. Haha!
Well, today I cleaned out my car and got my oil changed. Now when i say cleaned out my car, I mean I really cleaned the crap out of it. I found mouse poop in my glove compartment. Well, I vacuumed that up. I actually even wiped down my dash and everything. It's looking good I must say.
Let's see, what else did I do today. Oh, I went to Walmart to buy some games and groceries. Turns out they don't sell good card games, such as Five Crowns. So, I just bought groceries. I was mad. I have no idea where to find Five Crowns. I suppose I'll have to go to a game store in the cities sometime. Good thing I'm moving to the cities soon. And wow, is it soon. I leave in 3 mornings!!!! Crazy! Well, I basically have everything packed up. I want to load up my car (yes, I like planning ahead, and it's not as ridiculous as it sounds. I'm going to be at Lifelight all weekend. Which reminds me, if you like Family Force Five, you should come with me. I'll be the girl singing at the top of her lungs and trying to dance cooly but not succeeding), but I have a senior photo session on Saturday morning, so I guess I'll load it up Saturday afternoon before heading out to Lifelight for the day.
Well, I'm going to bed. Yes, at 10:40. I'm becoming more and more ridiculous each day. Next thing I know I'm going to enjoy exercising. And the day that happens is the day I die. Night!

“When I admire the wonder of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in worship of the Creator.”

I'M HOME! I've never loved my bed as much as I am loving it right now as I'm typing this. I arrived home at 11:15. Long day of traveling. But, I got so much done. Haha! I read 200 pages in a book (which it turns out I've already read it, but it's a good refresher) and took a nap. I'm on caffeine right now because I was getting tired on the way home from Winsted. So, now I'm all hyped up and yet really ready for bed. Today nothing really exciting happened. And so this blog is ending. Night!

Dang, that was short. Sorry! :/

Oh wait! Here's a picture of the sunset I drove into tonight.
