Why do people give each other flowers? To celebrate various important occasions, they're killing living creatures? Why restrict it to plants? "Sweetheart, let's make up. Have this deceased squirrel."

This week has been tough. I honestly have no idea why I’ve been in such a CRAPPY mood. But, I have. That’s for sure. You can ask any of my friends, or David. They hear all about it.
I’ve been getting migraines again. For about a week straight it has just been constant pain. I even have prescribed medicine for it. But, it isn’t helping this time. Lame.
Last night I went to bed with a my head feeling like it was getting crushed and woke up feeling worse. You can always tell it’s going to be a good day when that happens. Not! I took extra strength tylenol right before class and well, it didn’t help. That doesn’t usually happen. So, I didn’t take another dose. No way was I going to waste medicine. I drank tons and tons and tons of water today thinking that would maybe get rid of the stupid migraine. Well, it didn’t, just made me pee. A lot.
I decided to take a nap thinking maybe that would help. It didn’t. I started to work on homework, might as well do something with my day. I got one small assignment done. Since I had a poop day I decided to eat a carby supper. Mac n cheese. It was good. Delicious, in fact. Who knew that of all gluten things I would miss, it would be mac n cheese? Not me. Today I basically stayed in my room. Siri knocked on my door and told me to go look outside. To my surprise, there were flowers sitting outside my door.
Perfect timing, David. I almost cried. Lame how flowers can make a girl’s week better. But, I needed something thoughtful like that (because it turns out eating fatty meals just makes you feel worse). The flowers are beautiful! Gerber daisies and spider mums. My favorites. So so so so so so great!
Btw, long distance relationships are vomit. Not seeing David for 8 weeks is killing me. Here’s my advice to anyone in a long distance relationship, though. Talk lots. Use skype often. And pray and do devos together. There is nothing better than God time. It has been so encouraging at the end of the day to be asked, “What is God teaching you?” And then, to hear what God is teaching someone else! Seriously, though. It’s the trick.

Picture of the flowers coming soon!

That quote is hilarious! Don't ever give someone a dead animal. That's just a horrible idea!

"Charmin Ultra. Less is More."

Update on the weekend.
Charmin toilet paper is the best. It lasted the whole weekend, well sorta. More on that later. Did you know that you really only need two squares of toilet paper?!? It's actually great. That'll save me money for my WHOLE life. So great!
Well the weekend was a successful laid-back girls weekend. We ate, slept, watched movies, watched castle, ate, played wii, ate, slept, and ate. Basically, we ate. A lot!
And how great is this?!? Our neighbor plowed the driveway Saturday morning, so we got out perfectly. Well, Sunday we got all packed up and left to go back to school. Well, the roads were HORRIBLE! Tons of drifts and too much wind. Couldn't see more than twenty feet in front of us. Needless to say, we gassed up, bought some ice cream and toilet paper (because we used the last right before we left) and turned around. We left this morning around 9 and got back at 1. The roads were good and we didn't even almost once die. So that's good. Too bad we had to miss class. Lame!
Oh well, it was a good, restful weekend. I'm glad we ventured out!

And... to end the blog. Here are the lyrics to the charmin song. Haha!

"Charmin Company Charmin Ultra Less is More" Hey little fella gotta change your touch What you thought was enough might be too much You see it's more cushiony then ever before Charmin Ultra less is more When you say less is more (Yeah!) Less is more It's more absorbent then the regular ripple brand for sure What you used to love now you're gonna adore CHA CHA CHA Charmin!!!!

"The whisper of a pretty girl can be heard further than the roar of a lion."

It's girls weekend this fine weekend. We just finished J-term and decided, "hey, let's take a roadtrip!" So we did. Me, Kayla, Anna, and Siri are all at my cabin.
Well, yesterday we finally left around 4:30 after all the running around the city to get groceries. We are fully stocked up on delicious food for the weekend. We're making pizza and tacos for our dinners, and just eating salad for lunch each day (we're all on a diet lol).
We made it here last night at 9, and much to our dismay the driveway was full of snow. And by full of snow, I mean it was up to my knees the whole way to the garage. And its a stinking long driveway. Well, for some reason we decided we HAD to get the car in the garage so we started shoveling. It was actually fun. It was good to get some of our energy (yes, we had coffee) out of our system and do something (since we skipped out of exercising yesterday). Well, about an hour (or less, I forgot to look at the time) later we were finally in. Btw, I love my car (Suzie), but the stinking "cutting the gas when it feel like it's slipping thing" is really annoying when you're trying to get through snow. I wanted to kill my car for a second there. But, all is done (for now. We have to somehow get Suzie out of there sometime on Sunday lol).
We watched a movie last night and of course had to have popcorn! After the movie we went to bed, and now it's morning. Me and Anna are up, but Kayla and Siri are still sleeping. I'm thinking breakfast is sounding good. Prolly eggs. There's tons here!!!!

P.S. When your mother tells you "Don't forget toilet paper!" you should probably listen. I, being an idiot, forgot the toilet paper. And now, we are skimping as much as we can to make it through the weekend. We'll see how this goes!

P.P.S. That quote is dumb. Whispers are way quieter than lions' roars.
